My weekend back is drawing to a close.. behinds having to endure a torturous 7 hours journey back to KL(on a good day it’s only 4 hours. Fuck fucking bus companies who bluff me.), it was all good because I got to spend time with my darling boyfriend. K lah please don’t vomit when I get mushy. It gets worse.
According to him, most of his friends asked him why was he going back to KL for. He told them that he had a dental appointment. And they were like, “Haiyo say la see girlfriend..” etc. LoL. It’s quite a good dentist joke. (oh no, am I turning into one of those professional geek and am actually cracking career-related jokes?)
In the morning, I followed Chee Kiang to his dentist and turns out that he was going to get his braces removed! It’s always the case – you never know which visit to the orthodontist will be your last. You’ll only know once you’re in that chair, same thing happened to me.
While waiting for him to come out of the surgery, I was fantasizing the setting of my own future living room. I’m going to take photographs of my happy patients and paste them onto a brick wall. And a whole collage of photos I’ve taken in all the years that I’ve had a digital camera. It took me quite a while to decide if I should have a television in my clinic. It might ease the tension that the patients will feel, but it might also be annoying with the constant noise. But then I thought about my chinese tvb series, and I thought that a tv in the clinic might be a good idea after all. Another thought to contemplate was if I should build a children’s play area or not. And if I do, should I go all out and buy one of those big playpens with balls inside? I could go relax there after a long day of work:). Then I thought about the lighting. Fluorescent or warm lights? Should I play newage music throughout the day? Decisions, decisions!
He in turn temaned me to pick up a few things including multiple mouth washes to be distributed to dentists around the area to collect extracted teeth for me.(I’m contemplating on the idea to make a nice big banner and have a campaign to my friends and readers to donate any of their extracted teeth to me!)
We went to Subang Parade to get a package(photo at the bottom of the post) that was left for me and also to walk around to kill time. We saw this model house at the concourse area. It’s three stories with a swimming pool at the top of the house, like on a deck. We both fell in love with the house and actually enquired about the area that the house was situated in. We were quite surprised that the salesman actually layaned us as we clearly looked like students. (Him with his sling bag and board shorts, me and my backpack in my short..er shorts. We were supposed to go swimming but it was raining cats and dogs.) The house is in Subang Alam, near Putra Heights. It’s just so beautiful! It could easily fetch a few million.. a couple or three millions maybe. We’ll buy that house when we’re 40. But I don’t want to be too old to enjoy life.:( But it’s impossible for younger people(unless a miracle happens) to be so rich by the age of 40. Sigh.
It was also nice that he agreed to come have dinner with almost my whole family. As in godmother, godfather, godsis, aunty, uncle, cousin and of course my parents.(my brother had a very good time, wherever he was).. so it was something new again. hehehe. But things went rather well:) Quite happy with the way things are going.
Since he wanted to get sunnies,we decided to head down to Petaling Street to have a look see. Oh he did get his sunnies alright(he actually tried on some Paris Hilton type of glasses and the glasses worn by the ugly moustached man who sang the “Oooh you touch my talala my ding ding dong” song). Problem is, I TOO got quite alot of things. See for yourself:
Two somewhat statement t-shirts that were RM20 each.I forgot that the lowest we could get for three t-shirts was RM55. It was originally RM50+ each but since they were closing shop they wanted to make a quick buck and were easy to negotiate with.
The “Le Sports Sac” bag….after surveying many many shops and haggling the prices, I managed to get one for Rm25 from the usualy RM45 quoted. But am feeling quite sad now because I finally bothered to read the label. It doesn’t say Le Sports Sacs. It says Pro Sports Sac.:(
The lamp was RM30. When I saw it from far I was like, “Waaa!! So cute!” and said indignantly, “but I won’t buy one lor!”. I fingered the Hello Kitty ones and felt that they were perfect for my bedside table in my Subang Room! No space for the one in Kedah because….*whispers* I HAVE AN EARRING TOWER THERE!!!(photos will be coming soon).
After Petaling Street, we went to Hartamas Square to meet up with Daryl, Justin and Jon. There was a St. Patrick’s event just outside Souled Out. While checking out the crowd from Chee Kiang’s car, suddenly I saw a familiar face!! I immediately rolled the window down and screamed, “WILLIAM SAN!!! WILLIAM SAN!!!!”.
LOL, it was so liberating to be all teeny bopper again. I miss those stupid days.
For those who don’t know and don’t care who William San is, he is a local talent mostly in the chinese side of the industry. He used to play the third brother who was a genius and who was schizo too in Homecoming! Can’t remember what’s his name in the show already… but yeah, the point is he was standing there, on the sidewalk, in flesh!!
Chee Kiang was like, “WEI!! Don’t embarrass me can?”
Hahhahaa. It definitely feels good though. Too bad William San didn’t acknowledge my yellings.
That’s him in yellow.
And this..is the package I was talking about. A Miss Jean Loh who’s Estee Lauder’s PR manager emailed me and asked if I could do a review on some Estee Lauder products. So damn happy that I have Estee’s Lauder’s stuff to use!! Will post a review soon.
Now let me go have a good night’s sleep before going back to Kedah tomorrow.
