Anonymous Bloggers In Love

Anonymous bloggers are hard to come by these days. There were many popular phantom bloggers back in 2005 – the year where blogging became mainstream in Malaysia, the year when blogging was recognized as a new media.

Anonymous bloggers usually have different and controversial topics in their daily postings such as a couple who blogged together describing their intimate moments, a man who wooed several woman and was known as the Don Juan of the blogosphere and even a lone commentator who would dissect, criticize and spill the secrets of the big wigs in the blogging scene. Controversies equal to traffic and these anonymous bloggers knew their niche extremely well. There were many bored office workers and procrastinating students who loved a good drama among real people. Almost like a reality show!

Controversial stuff aside, romantic blogs are indeed very sweet. I am one of those girls who love reading other people’s musings about their own new found love. Marriage proposals are my favourite!

Though these two blogs are rather new, this new couple has decided to go old school (yes, 2005 is now regarded as old school. Time flies on the internet.). They’ve decided to take an anonymous approach to blogging by documenting their love, each and every step of the way. J

As you know, every anonymous blogger would adopt a pseudonym and it basically becomes their trademark. Berry and Lemon have curiously taken on fruits as their theme. Sort of like how Cheesie always inserts anything cheesy whenever she can.

Lemon has only just gotten out of another relationship, so this whole new thing with Berry is making her world go round and round as it is happening so fast.

I remember the feeling of falling in love all too well. J I was also hesitant at first but you keep telling yourself, take everything slowly. Things will fall into place, you’ll start to feel comfortable with the idea of being in a relationship. Nobody should put any pressure on themselves when it comes to these things. I made the mistake of comparing my relationship to my friends’ relationships. At the beginning of my relationship, most of my friends were already months into their own. Touching, light pecks on the cheek freaked me out a little bit. I remember thinking, “How do they get there? It looks so difficult. Oh my god, this is so difficult. How do they make it so natural?”

While the both of us milled around moodily and awkwardly in the first few days of our relationship, who knew that years later, touching, light pecks on the cheek, forehead and everywhere else(and more haha) would be such a breeze. The most wonderful feeling in the world. J

So Lemon, take it easy. Take this as your own story, allow it to write out by itself into its own special happy ever after. No one relationship is similar to another. Each is special in its own way.

Now, Berry, you are very lucky to land a girl like Lemon. I applaud the both of you for documenting your love on the internet. I daresay it a lost art, surpassed by the thousands of bloggers who seem to have lost the very core of blogging.

Your blogging style, while not as sweet as Lemon’s, is very cryptic. I am strangely drawn to it.

Whatever do you mean when you that you don’t need to take off any pants when you go to the toilet? Are you actually going around pantless ala Donald Duck?? Berry, you have to be more direct. J

Berry claims to be a purple fellow, but I’m guessing it’s part of his word play with their chosen theme (fruits). Cute. I LOLed at the part where he said that he stands out in pictures unless it is shot in black and white.

I think….that Berry’s blog actually is kind of a riddle for any blogger who drop by. A romantic and a cryptic person, indeed.
