Classes have resumed and a cheeky peek into the new simulator lab allowed be to be the first student to have a guided tour of the new lab! Imported from Germany and there are 20 simulators too. With three 36″ LCD screens around the lab for demonstrations and such. 🙂 As always, I’m excited. I’ll be touching the handpieces really soon. Anytime now.
We came home early today and I stepped into the shower at 6.30pm and changed into my pyjamas already and it’s only 8.40pm yet I’m all ready to head into bed already. I feel like a baby right after a shower, clothed with the softest baby jumper with ducklings printed on it, running around in an aircon room. I think this is what normal people describe as a state of relaxation. I’m feeling relaxed. Yes, that’s it.
What I can’t wait to do is watch another episode of Dr. House with Lie Yuen and nibble salted pretzels from the huge bag that I brought from home and nod excitedly at each other when a term we’ve learnt from our first year and 1st half of our second year is being used in the series.
Life is always good at the beginning of the module. 🙂 It’s gonna be a damn packed one though. Timetables just in today.
Oooh! Ooh! I wrote another article for R.age!
But of course, we must do what we must do.
56 killer, attack!
Don’t give up on me, people. 🙁 I took so long to watermark and adjust the lighting of the photos(not to mention the amount of effort which went into posing for the stupid photos)..the least you could do is wait for all million photos to load and then smile half heartedly at what I have to offer. Thank you!!
Just like the 1st week, here’s a breakdown of what I did during the second week!
1. Met up with Ken, Elaine and Sue Ann at Asia Cafe with Esther.
2. The aptly named Stupid Steamboat @ Yuen’s Steamboat. Good times with the gang.
3. Another Yamcha session at Beans in SS15.
4. Threading eyebrows with the girls
5. Looking for (#$*(##% police stations in KL when Mel lost her wallet.
6. Esther and I meeting up with Calvin at Asia Cafe.
7. Going trigger happy in Malacca

KEN CHUA KOK KIAN!! The one person whom I was pretty close to sometime in form4 due to the Interact Club’s activities between our schools…(and also the first person I pecked on the lips in a very embarrassing lame game the Interactors played)… came back from Melbourne for a visit. I haven’t seen this dude since he left suddenly five years ago.
Elaine and Sue Ann came along too! Both of which were my primary school mates. I wasn’t very close to Sue Ann back in primary school, but funny how we got much friendlier with each other even though we were in different schools and then college. As for Elaine, we’ll always remain Polly Pocket friends, yes?:)

Elaine and I
Sue Ann and I
Ken and I. From a tall lanky bespectacled boy who was experimenting with spiky hair and abit of misai back in form4, he has changed into this funky dude who is rather muscular while sporting some bling bling at that too! But he still talks in that innocent way that I remember. Hehehehe.

I think it was Tuesday night. We went for Steamboat and had a blast discovering new edibles. Never knew you could eat so many types of things. Like national geographic channel like that.
Yijin said he could still hear the sea in the seashell.
Manda and Mel … I can’t remember what’s that. Crabs?
Here’s my bowl of mish mash. Mmmm. Love steamboat.
Look at how curly the baby octopus’ tentacles are.
Mel said it looks like a boob therefore I had to take a photo. -_-
I had trouble eating the mussel from this trickly shell. So sharp. Later sure get ulcer one. Was actually making a damn kesian face because I couldn’t get it out. But my hair looks horrendous there(never wash that’s why), so I had to put a hat photoshop brush on it to cover it and look stupid and slightly cool.
GreAt SuckSeSs! (must say it like how they say it in Borat)
DOn’t be fooled. The pink thing in his spoon is actually a rolled up tissue paper. Naughty Yijin.
Zhuo Yan scooping fish mee for Chun Meng. So loving. Aww.
Abby and Mel laughing so much while Marcus scratches his cheek.
We found Jaja Bings!
Nigel is back!! Haven’t seen him since before I left for national service!!
l-r: marcus, Zhuo Yan, Chun Meng
l-r: Nigel, Chun Guan, Yijin and Me
Mel and Abby. At least a nice photo before the torrent of insane ones.
Amanda and I falling about laughing after failing to do something really stupid. As always.
We can cross our eyes.
Amanda’s mock horror. Fail la babe. 😀
Abby did something really disgusting.
I got the rest to try out the same pose. Amanda’s.
Mel’s.
Abby’s. By far the cutest la!
The Paus.
L-r: Peace Pau, Super Pau, Ultra Pau. Ningkupau is blogging this. You’ll see a photo of Ningkupau later.
Soon after, we left for Tanjung for another round. We will be fat, I know.
oh look, it’s Perasan Pau. The good girl stayed home because she had a test to study for.
And there she is. The ever sophisticated and glamourous ningkupau. All haill queen Ning Ku. By the way, that’s my JO.CK shirt that Ck and I made in Singapore. 😀
l-r: Mel, Manda, Abby, Myself.
Abby and Amanda. Nice what, one big one small.
Sheesh.
Yinin so cute! More lines can?
Can you see my Limau Ring?
Abby, you really should clean that nose of yours.
Kay Hong joined us too. Sorry, forgot to tell you about dinner. hehehe. Don’t emo.
l-r: MUnteng, Mel, Manda
Yijin the hiaupor
Yijin finds Kay Hong’s thigh very …enticing.
The sei ham sap lou is back again!
Asked Mun Teng to do a cute face when Kay Hong pretended to kiss her.
And this photo is just wrong la. JUST WRONG.
Yijin has a thing for bags.
And I’ve got a thing for Mel’s boobies. Poor dear.
Yijin invites you to fly his plane. Mmm.

Enough of stupidness, I made another round of bottles for a couple of friends(Hsin and Calvin) who were going to Australia and Daryl’s….er..love interest. I made a template for the silly boy to fill whatever message he wants and then he’ll ship it off to Hong Kong(where the girl he likes is from).
Nicer finishings now.
And Angel so cute right?
Yamcha at Beans. What’s wrong with SS15? Turning into some Lala place. The place Station One behind is a semblance of Halo Cafe and I can’t stand the super loud singers. Please don’t bring me to yamcha at those places next time because I cannot hear myself or anyone talk. What’s the point of “meeting up” if we can only look at each other?
I hate SS15 now. Turning into this weird place. Lalas are killing the bananas in Subang Jaya. We must do something.
top l-r: Evelyn, Vern Yang
bottom l-r: Joshua, Mel and Abby.
l-r: Mel, Abby, Me and Dennis.
Sucking on Mel’s temples.
L-r: Dennis(see the happy face), Abby, Mun Teng
l-r: Esther and Dennis(long time no see!)
And a spontaneous camwhoring moment. Dennis saw the photo and he said, “Jo, you should blow this up, put it in your room and then caption it: Don’t worry, I Have inner beauty.”
LOL LOL. That’s a good one.

Since a few of us were feeling particularly hairy, we decided to head to SS15(yeah I know, again) to get our eyebrows, upperlips and arms done. We now have beautiful eyebrows, hairless arms and are no longer bermisai. We are now more women than ever. (forgive my crap. It’s 1.41am on a school night. zzzzzz zzz zz )
Threading is kind of painful. And it’s only with normal thread and some kind of special powder.
Esther was apparently a veteran at it.
Mel so bitchy.
Abby’s eyelids so big. Big Eye Abby.
Poor thing!! So pain until there were tears in her eyes.;(
After that, Mel and I went to post our valentine Day cards to our respective boyfriends. We hope that they are sweet enough to post one back.
One to Singapore, one to Australia.
Having a staring competition with Abby while my brother drives.
Esther and ABby looking very pretty.
Later at night, we met up with Edison and Li Peng whom we have no seen in over a year. See, I needed to meet up with everybody that’s why I was going out most of the time. 🙂 But I enjoyed myself la this holiday. So it’s all good.
AND I BOUGHT NICE SHOES. And nice makeup too.

As you all know, poor Mel lost her wallet in Sungai Wang and we were sent on a wild goose chase to look for a police statio that would help us.
Ibu Pejabat Polis which doesn’t deal with petty crimes.
So the trek up to the gigantic building was a waste.
It’s weird to spend our supposedly shopping trip looking for police stations instead.
I was damn tired lor.
Walking along the road that leads to SMK Victoria Institution. Abby, being so blur and cute, nearly walked straight into the boys school. But we were sure it would have been a good deed on Abby’s part as she would have made all the little boys’ day.
THIS TIME, walking alongside Stadium Merdeka.
Nah, stadium Merdeka. Crazy one lah.
And finally, a police station that would help us.
We were fortunate enough to see Chia Wei waving at us from her car when we were already in a taxi outside the KTM station. So sweet of her for fetching us home. Thanks again ya Chia Wei!

Calvin received a bottle from me too!:) He bisinged before that he wanted when I made the dahlings one each. Have a good one year in Australia, Calvin!!

Ah, finally, the last set of photos.
Dad took his baby up to Malacca to have some fun in my Aunty’s garden. We were down in Malacca for the family company annual dinner.
Cousin Hong Fei playing with Dad’s baby in the garden while Dad turns around to smile for my small kuchirat of a camera.
Mervyn and his iPod and cousin Hong Fei who looks so small compared to Mervyn. Lol. Like an Angel or devil that sits on his shoulder, telling him what to do. LOL. It DOES look like that.
Here’s one of me posing for dad.
Stepping in my Aunty’s soft soft buttercups. I think those are buttercups. No?
They were trying to see if the dSLR could capture individual droplets of water.
Slowly trickling it from a beer can.
It’s all about the angles.
You’d think that this mirror was for feng shui. But my aunty actually put it there so she could see who was at the door. -_-
So cute, can see my dad’s face in the mirror.
My uncle once fell down these steps before.
Well, glad they’re having fun. 🙂
My Aunty’s self made koi pond. From the decos(the clay leaves, clay frogs) to the tiles and the bricks.
Dad was having so much fun!
Here’s a shot of the side door of my Aunt’s place.
And my pride and joy! A series of photos taken with my trusty Panasonic Lumix FX8 featuring one of my greatest passions: mandarin oranges.
The oranges weren’t orange enough. Too much of fibre coating it.
After eating the oranges, the skin could still serve as a nice object to photograph.
The adventures of the travelling mandarin orange peel.
The grass/buttercups were freshly watered.
A macro shot of the droplets. Like diamonds. 🙂
And even the toilet proved to be a good place for photo opportunities.
The evening sun makes the best lighting. My dad said that the time before the sky gets dark is called the photographer’s hour.
No wonder I took so long in the toilet.
This is taken with my dad’s DLSR. Nice right?
At Century Mahkota, where the dinner was held.
Mum and I
Mervyn acting so happy. This is a rare photo.
Dad, still behind the lens of this camera. It’s cool that he’s so into photography. 🙂
OK!! I promise this is the last of many many photos. I hope your internet is working fine after the abuse it received from my blog. You may now continue living your life. I will now get up from my toilet bowl, and go to sleep. Yes, I’m telling the truth.
lol.. is it a habit of yours to blog from toilet bowls? hehehe.. mmm.. you look quite like your mum:)
jo: ahaha.. save time ma. 🙂 hehe yeah, people say that. some say i look my dad too.

Woot … Good to hear that your Dad’s into photography.
Off topic; it’s Jar jar Binks. Heehee.
