Class ended at 4.30pm on Monday and YET about two thirds of the class went to The Carnival, a theme park here in Sungai Petani. We were given coupons(Buy 1 free 1) so might as well make use of it before our finals consume us(Hello again 8am bed time). Only RM8 for so much fun!
I didn’t really have any high expectations towards The Carnival as I practically grew up in Sunway Lagoon(some more only 5 minutes away from my house and everything else), what else could be better than Sunway Lagoon’s theme park right? *proud* Maybe Genting Highlands, but we’re just talking water theme park.
The company was great, so mediocre attractions don’t really matter.
l-r: Narjit, Brenda, Zhu Zen, Sock Nee, Nien, Cze-Yin, Lie Yuen and myself
Andy was really excited.
Chee Wen pulls a face.
And Jimmy looks mushroomy from this angle.
l-r: Magesh, Jeeva, Praveena, Cze-Yin, Jeya and Narjit
Ebby, our class rep. Handling everything, as usual. Thanks ebby!!;)
I honestly don’t know why they were ALL in red.
Narjit and I. Oh look! We’re both in blue.
Cze-Yin and Ee Chean.
Lie Yuen’s very happy with all the attractions at The Carnival.
Zhu Zen and I before heading into the theme park.
Looks promising right?
Sett and I
Brenda and I walking into the Carnival.
Their lockers are damn high tech ok.
The locker would then unlock by itself.
The slides weren’t that scary, save for one.
l-r: Bala, Ebby, Magesh and Desmond
Sett and ee Chean after the scary slide that I didn’t dare go on.
That’s the scary blue side. First there’s this damn steep drop and you will go up a ramp due to your momentum, and then slide down backwards at full speed. ARGH… I didn’t dare go on it despite all the peer pressure that was going on.
Jimmy and Sock Nee, both also so light, so it mustn’t have been that scary for them.
Zhu Zen, Brenda and Lie Yuen loving it.
Maxis looking so cute from this angle lah! Like a deer caught in the headlights like that.
Bungee-ing on a trampoline!! It’s damn fun, like going on the solero shot in slow motion.
I kneel in mid air.
Haha, looks like I’m being blown by the wind right.
Magesh and Cze-Yin making a splash.
This is just of the many times that they went on that scary slide. I’ve got a phobia of super kau steep slides. Especially the ones with water. I mean gravity and no friction? I shudder at the thought.
A nice splashing photo of Andy and Lie Yuen.
l-r: Brenda, Jimmy, Magesh and Cze-Yin posing next to the inflatable rock climbing gym that had no air. (climb halfway will fall down one)
Cze-Yin goes freestyle on the trampoline.
Andy and Sett could do somersaults on that bungee thing okay! I’ve got a video, but too malas to put it up.
Nien, Lie Yuen and Zhu Zen floating along the lazy river.
Lie Yuen underwater.
Towards the closing time, the entire class congregated at the Bubble Spa and had a (forgive the cliche line) splashing great time!
Mini class photo!
L-r: Lie Yuen, Sock Nee and Nien
Andy’s the kind of the world! Damn stupid lah the boys, they were competing who could balance on the tubes the longest.
And here’s another game they played: Jumping into the tubes.
Gotta watch the video: We had so much fun!! I know I laugh damn annoyingly in the video.
Funniest part was when Maxis and Sett tried to jump into the tubes.
After the place closed and just before I headed into the showers, I stopped to take this picture. Quite nice right the colours?
And this one while waiting for the rest to be done showering. Eee, Jolene mandi kerbau. No lor, actually I only towel dried and put on fresh clothes. Got a problem ah? Go home bathe better.
Since we already wasted one day, might as well continue to waste it by celebrating Poh Yee’s birthday too.
She turns a ripe old 22!
top l-r: Sock Nee, Me
bottom l-r: Lie Yuen, Nien, Poh Yee and Zhu Zen
For many months (I think since September last year), two fluorescent light bulbs in our house blew out. We’ve been putting off calling the handyman because we need a real man who could change our lights for us.
Mana lah I know that you just needed to twist the tubes and out it would come. -_-
Us being the independent women that we are(although just abit lazy), we went to Angela’s house and borrowed her ladder. It was so scary to be balancing on the last step of the ladder while holding on to the very very dusty ceiling beam while changing the light with another hand, we didn’t even think of taking any stupid photos. ;\
Or not I would have been able to crack this joke: How many girls(we’re talking in Jolene terms here) does it to change a light bulb?
4. One to drive the car to borrow the ladder and take a photo, one to camwhore and climb the ladder and change the light bulb, one to open the gate to lend the ladder and another one to pick up the phone to say that we could come over to borrow the ladder. Okay, nevermind. Not funny also.
But we still made the most out of it when we returned the ladder to Angela today!
The ladder and I are parallel.
In the name of my smelly armpits, I shall give the almighty ladder to the heavens above for all eternity.
Lie Yuen and I with our new friend, The Ladder.
Me and my new boyfriend, Lau Ah Tai.
Smiling at Angela while crossing the road over to her place.
Angela waves from across the road.
It’s not often that you have an empty road, a ladder in your hands and a camera in your housemate’s hands.
Thanks Angela for the ladder!
”
And so, on the way home..
Nice photo of Lie Yuen ya?
We decided to take a small stroll around the block. By the way, I photoshopped away my bra straps! Not obvious right?:D
I know, I know. Damn dirty. Somemore it just rained. I do look like a mermaid here. With the shiny blue skirt, the legs like a bifurcated fishtail and the hair like seaweed.
And two kids cycled by and said in mandarin, “eeeeee…that girl lying on the floooor..”…and Lie Yuen replied, “Shi lor. Sa de!” while taking a photo. (translation: yes lor. stupid one!) Thank you ar Lie Yuen.
Time for some hardcore studying tonight.
And many more sleepy mornings. See, even turning off the class airconditioner also can fall asleep. (I really dozed off for awhile while Lie Yuen was fidgeting with the camera.)
Wah! Like fo rong jie jie!
jo: I shall punish you to collect R.age newspapers for me for all eternity!

2) the one with ur new bf – Mr. Lau Ah Tai
Had me in stitches. I’m a mad woman… just now crying like it’s the end of the world, now laughing like siau.

Amboiii! So much fun lerr! Ebby looked such a natural class monitor. Haha.
If Joseph saw you there on the road, he would laugh his head off.
p.s. Wanna join ray, yenchiew and sinling and I for a meet-up on Sunday evening?
jo: hehhee he does doesn’t he! He wanted to step down this year but we didn’t let him.
aiya!! would he?? so young also know how to laugh at other people. hehe.:D
i’d love to!! but i’ll be in penang with my family over the weekend.. despite being in the same uni as them, I have never bumped into them(or maybe I have but I”m bad with faces. I think I recognise Ray though…)…and somemore you working just opposite my uni only and yet we’ve never met. bwahhaha.. I’d really love to meet all of you! If you can postpone to the following SUnday then that’d be great! But if that’s inconvenient, I’ll take a rain check and do include my in future gatherings!!!
–
Okie la.. I’ll be off to KL on the following Sunday so I can’t make it. Perhaps another time then. Once we get the ball rolling it should be easier to organize future meets. 🙂
I heard that there’s going to be a meet in Penang on 23rd. I’ll be working so I can’t make it.
