My Dog Humps Like A Boy

My dog has taken an unhealthy interest in me.

She would usually run away from me and hide in a corner whenever I return home from uni. It depends on her mood really but I think it was because of all the times I’ve thrown her up in the air for fun, or picked her off the floor by her armpits. I don’t really have a good track record with her dad as well. Back when Bubbles was still alive and younger, he had these protruding balls whenever he splayed out on the ground. I’d press it a little bit with my toes to disturb him. Too tempting! Nothing bad happened, since Angel and her sisters did materialize, right?

Anyway, back to Angel.

For years she has liked humping my hand. But in the past few weeks, she has managed to make herself very comfortable on my right thigh and cling on to my arm and go at it like a mad woman. She would go so fast, so fast, so fast to a point that I start to worry if she might get a heart attack.

I don’t get it! We have had her spayed and she’s..yeah, a female! But she’s doing naughty boy things! One of my theories is that tying her tubes (fallopian?)  probably prevented her oestrogen and progesterone from flooding her body like a normal female. As a result, the testosterone in her body is not acted against and pretty much controls her urges. I don’t know, what do I know, I’m just a 4th year dental student who forgot her 1st year physiology stuff.

Nowadays when I’m minding my own business typing away at the computer, she would come up to me and bark, wanting her fix. I really should stop layaning her. Bad girl! Down!
